Gorgeous Grey Kitchen

To create this modern and sumptuous Kitchen look, two different shades of grey have been combined: Slate Grey and Mineral Grey (matt) from NOBILIA. These two rich shades of grey are perfect for the modern and contemporary look of the Kitchen, because they are full of personality and warmth, and help to create a welcoming space. The tall and base cabinets are in a darker shade than the wall cabinets, creating a strong visual impact. However, the subtle colour transition brought in by the slightly lighter tone of the wall units harmonises the colour scheme and keeps the look airy.  The polished worktop surface adds light and freshness, and its contrast with the rich grey tones is instantly uplifting.  Vibrant hues, like the dark flecks of the worktop (Silestone White Platinum) adds warmth and personality to the room. Finally, the cool grey fronts go really well with the stainless steel of the long bar handles, enhancing the contemporary streamlined Kitchen look.

The island stands in proudly in the middle of the room and doubles as an ample breakfast bar. The wrap around in Silestone White Platinum evokes functionality and adds a layer of pure chic to this very contemporary design. The wrap around also ensures abundant working surface where dishes can be prepared and elegantly served. Moreover, it allows for cleverly hidden storage (back of the island) and creates valuable legroom. Finally, in this open-plan Kitchen, the island also works as a transition to the more social areas.

Storage is provided by three tall units, including the integrated Siemens fridge and freezer and the slim larder unit, plentiful wall and base units and generously sized pull-outs.

Finally, the integrated electric Siemens ovens (oven and oven-microwave) in black work well with the dark surfaces, adding practicality and good looks to the Kitchen.
