Classic FS, RAL Blue & Bossa Lined Oak
Soft blue cabinetry and pale oak bring warmth and character to a generous family kitchen in Fulham, with storage designed to disappear into the architecture.

The scale of this room called for a kitchen that could provide a considerable amount of storage without feeling dominated by cabinetry. Fully lacquered doors in a bespoke RAL blue keep the long runs of tall units calm and understated, while lined oak introduces warmth in carefully chosen places.
Rather than using the oak throughout, it has been used to draw attention to particular elements. A bank of wall cabinets creates a warm focal point above the sink, while the same finely lined finish wraps the seating side of the island. Paired with the oak floor and timber bar stools, it softens the expanses of blue and white without interrupting the simplicity of the room.

Storage has been worked hard behind that quiet exterior. A full-height pocket-door larder opens to reveal shelves, internal drawers and its own lighting, while a tall corner unit uses four pull-out trays to make an otherwise awkward part of the kitchen easily accessible. Bespoke-height cabinetry takes the storage right up to the ceiling.

The large island is deliberately simple, combining preparation space, an Elica venting hob and seating for four. A seamless pale Dekton surface keeps it visually light, while the absence of overhead extraction leaves the long pendant and rooflight unobstructed.
Samsung and Miele appliances are integrated into the surrounding cabinetry, with a Quooker at the sink completing a kitchen in which most of the practical detail is there when needed, and remarkably quiet when it isn’t.
